Devon Funds Head of Retail Greg Smith talks to ZB’s Mike Hosking about the state of the consumer both in NZ and abroad. Black Friday online sales in the US surpassed US$9 billion for the first time, while at home September quarter retail sales rose, but not that much considering inflation and a lockdown comparative. People have though been spending on phones but will this cause a headache for Apple which has been having production difficulties?
